A mainly satisfactory response. I'm pleased you've included statistics about female killers and this strengthens your answer. A few points to revise:
1) What gritty locations in Essex Boys? Be specific. This is a long film so be specific or use screen shots.
2) You say in the first paragraph “something bad is going to happen”. Could you instead say something like …..”reinforces menace”…. You say “mimic instead “reflect”.
3) Costume. The costume of your female character reflects aspects of a determined femme fatale. For example ……then more strongly reference your production re the girl’s costume.
4) Re costume you say……. Both these show similarities with 'Norma', who may have murdered through personal conflict that is so far unknown to the audience, thus using and developing the generic conventions that doesn't make these strong female characters objectified…..
This is a little confusing. Instead say some like……. Louise murders Harlem in “Thelma and Louise” to protect Thelma who is being raped. The reason Norma in our production attacks the homeless man is at this stage of the film an enigma which should arouse audience curiosity.
5) You say……….. Therefore we develop the generic conventions through the reference of a 'femme fatale' …… Instead say……..we challenge the convention of the female as victim (as in “Psycho” ) and instead cast the victim as a young male

I assume you are going to add screen shots and video clips. Keep up the good work Chloe.
